Philip Hult, CEO
Before joining Englishtown, Philip founded EF English First, a division of EF Education that establishes and operates for-profit English language schools in emerging markets. Serving as president, Philip grew English First to 66 schools in 11 countries. After English First, Philip became president of EF International Language Schools, EF's study-abroad language school division.
Bill Fisher, Founder, President
Bill serves as President for corporate and consumer business development in Asia. Prior to founding Englishtown, Bill founded EF Multimedia, the interactive media division of EF Education in 1993. There he led EF's expansion into CD-ROM and network-based language learning software with products sold in more than 40 countries around the world. Bill founded Englishtown and was named president in 1997.
Christopher McCormick, PhD, Vice President Academic Services
Christopher oversees the content production and global operations of Englishtown's school. Prior to joining Englishtown, he taught and administered language programs at the university level, published educational materials, and consulted on language program development. Dr. McCormick holds a Ph. D. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was named a University Fellow for his research in multimedia language instruction.
